About London Culture Club

What is London Culture Club?

It’s a way for people of all shapes, sizes, colours and creeds to experience art, theatre, dance, fashion, food and the downright strange events that are happening in London. It’s a way to broaden your mind. It’s a way to be the most interesting person at the party. It’s a way to connect with those who would otherwise be strangers to you through a shared ‘joie de vivre’.

How does it work?

I shall find out how, what, where and when to attend the best that London has to offer. I will plan a day, evening or even an entire weekend of culture. I will blog / tweet a time, date and place to meet and take anyone who wishes to come with me on my adventure may.

How much does it cost?

It’s free. Sort of. What I mean is that I won’t charge you a penny. Shopping, having a meal out, seeing a show. It costs money. But I’ve got student debts up the ying yang and, if you’ve read my tale above, you will also know that I’m basically unemployed. Therefore, I pledge that everything I plan will be free / as cheap as possible. It’s up to you how much extra you spend.

Who can come?

As long as you’re over 18 and can hold a conversation, anyone. Reasons for the former are that some things will involve alcohol, reasons for the latter are that some things won’t!

When will I know what’s happening?

You may have a month’s notice of what and when the event is happening, you may have a day. When I know, you’ll know, but not knowing is half the fun! Check back to the blog regularly for information but that best way to make sure you don’t miss out is following me on Twitter.

What if I can’t make that date?

Unfortunately I can’t help you there, but there will be something happening almost every week. I will also write up reviews of what the club sees and does and how long it’ll be there so you can make your way down another time.
